Developed and co-produced Sparked, a podcast about the people of West Virginia University who are changing Appalachia's future for the better.
Oversaw two web redesigns to improve the look functionality and design of the website magazine.wvu.edu.
Made strategic decisions to increase quality through choosing and recommending writers, photographers and designers.
Increased annual web traffic from around 47,000 pageviews to 140,000 pageviews.
Marketed the magazine through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram; social media became the major traffic driver to the website.
Developed a survey to measure audience relationship with the magazine. In the 2016 survey, 83 percent of readers found the magazine's quality to be excellent or good in each category (design, photography, writing) compared to 74 percent before the redesign. Seventy-four percent of readers read most or all of an issue.
Garnered the MarCom Platinum Award for WVU Magazine in 2015.

Since 2004, the book project has sent more than 20,000 books into prisons in six Appalachian states. I've trained volunteers, mailed books, produced a newsletter and created a video about the project.
Court-Appointed Special Advocate, CASA for Kids of Monongalia and Preston Counties
I became a court advocate for children in foster care in 2013, reporting on and monitoring the children's cases to make sure they're getting the resources and support they need while their case is going through the system.
